Through those experiences, he has discovered that while the Christian life is not always easy, it does not have to be as heavy or complicated as we often make it. He believes lasting balance is found in returning to the simplicity that is in Christ—anchored in God-given truth and guided by practical, common-sense faith.
Mark is a Business Development Liaison for Hospice and Palliative Care of Western Kentucky (HPC) in Owensboro, KY. He sings Gospel music whenever he has the opportunity. Also, he is the Founder and Host of the Simple Faith and Balanced Living Podcast on YouTube, where he teaches the Bible with a clear, practical, and down-to-earth approach. His goal is to share the hope we have in Christ and helping everyday Christians live faithfully without burnout, guilt, or extremes.
He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Ministry from Andersonville Theological Seminary. He is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Biblical Exposition from Andersonville. His ministry journey has included over three decades of service in local churches, evangelistic work, pastoral leadership, and chaplaincy with Hospice and Palliative Care of Western Kentucky, where he served families with compassion until 2022.
When he’s not working, studying, or creating content, Mark enjoys family time, Southern Gospel music, cheering on the Kentucky Wildcats, Dallas Cowboys, and St. Louis Cardinals.
